There are no Atlantic Avcnue Tunnel Tours currently scheduled.
Please check back for future tours! The Tunnel, which lies below Atlantic Avenue between Hicks Street and Court Street, was built in 1844 by William Beard. Brooklyn archeologist Bob Diamond (pictured below) discovered the half mile tunnel in 1982. The Tunnel which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places is now open for guided tours. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes or sneakers and bring flashlights. Tickets are $20.00 each.
